I did an initial test in cardboard, just to check the measurements were correct for the box so it would fit together. since it was 4mm instead of 3mm it wasn't perfect but I found out I needed to make the concertina part a little shorter for it to fit.
I made the frame out of mdf too, though hopefully I'll make that out of proper wood? I did have a look around a few opshops and the warehouse, etc, for any frames, but couldn't find anything this size.
Also did a quick test of having the profile view face, though I did make it a little too small.
